The reports are in! And by all accounts, the first National Spotlight event, held in Los Angeles, CA., was a great success.  We in Training and Education are especially excited about the four, 30-minute, instructor-led training sessions that were standing room only. There are nine more cities to go, so IBOs still have a chance to:
  • learn about selling health products at the Nutrilite -- Simple Selling with Samples session.
  • learn about selling skin care products at the Three Ways To Sell Artistry Skin Care session.
  • learn about selling gift collections at the Ribbon – Give. Sell. Succeed. session.
  • learn the secrets of selling at the Successful Selling Workshop session.
So, if you haven’t signed up yet, check out the National Spotlight schedule.
I’ll be at the upcoming event in Greensboro, N.C. Stop by to visit me in the Quixtar University booth!

And, if you attend any of these events, let us know what you thought of the training sessions. They give just a flavor of the many educational opportunities available to IBOs. To learn more about these opportunities, visit the Education page on Quixtar.com.

Some of us live so far away, it is a shame you cannot offer live video streams from one or two of these events.  If it were behind the quixtar login somewhere, it would be secure to only IBO's to view it. (Or guests with the IBO)

What do you think of that? Is it crazy, I mean, we are a technology company, right?

We are praying these events continue to be a success and perhaps adding more venues. The closest one to us would be Chicago. It is a six hour drive and it is the weekend before our FR in Ada, MI.  With gas prices nearing $4.00 a gallon we have to be frugal with our travelling more than ever.

Any chance you would consider adding the Twin Cities?

I have not yet been to one of these events but am looking forward to the Chicago event.  Being there is probably the ultimate what with all the excitement of the crowd.  But with gas prices as high as they are and projected to get even higher the video streaming sounds like a good way to go.

For the company's sake it might even be a good idea to set it up so that the person comes into the event like we do for conference calls by using a code.  Even if they required us to enter our IBO number so that they could count how many IBOs take advantage of the service and gave us a follow-up email asking us how many guests we had and what the feedback was... that sounds like a technological plan.

My husband and I attended the Spotlight in Greensboro, NC.  We went on Friday evening and I was so blown away that I went back on Saturday.  We had no idea how large it was going to be.  I did not expect the huge expo.  We just did not have enough time on Friday to take in everything.  The successful selling was so good that I sat in on that again on Saturday.  Thank you so much for all the time and effort that is going into these spotlights.  IBO's, please take advantage this event.  You will not be sorry.

Chicago was great as I'm sure all of them are. Thanks to Amway Global for making events like this available!
