National Spotlight Tour

Did you ever plan a party and wonder, "What if no one shows up?"

That question wasn't even on the radar screen as we kicked off the National Spotlight tour this past Friday and Saturday in Los Angeles. About 22,000 IBOs and their guests showed up at the Hyatt Regency, Century City, to learn more about our products and how to sell them. And yes, the local Fire Marshall definitely knows who we are now!

It was an exciting event packed full of product information, product demos, sales training, and free stuff. I want to thank not only the Quixtar North America/Amway Global staff who made it all happen, but especially all the IBOs who came out. They brought tremendous enthusiasm and braved the crowds in order to arm themselves with more knowledge and confidence with which to build their businesses.

It was especially great to meet IBOs who brought prospects to the event because they were able to show them a viable and exciting business opportunity - we wish them well as they begin their own independent businesses. We also appreciate that the IBOAI was present at the expo and on stage as Bob Andrews, Vice Chairman of the IBOAI, made an excellent presentation on profitability and balanced business. Steve Lieberman, Quixtar/Amway Global Managing Director and Sandy Spielmaker, Vice President of Sales, were not only on hand to talk with IBOs, but helped to direct traffic, hand out materials, and whatever else it took.

So in short, we think we're on to something! We will take what we learned in L.A. and apply it to future events as we look to make the experience the best possible for IBOs and their guests.

What a GRAND idea!  While I have not been to this event yet, I am excitedly awaiting it to come to a city near me.  It's the perfect opportunity to see all the products in one place and to treat our clients and IBOs.   Can't wait!
