Seems to me that if you didn't have such a one sided unfair arbitration process in the first place, you wouldn't have to be concerned about suppressing those IBOs who have legit claims against you.   Your tussle with the ex-IBO rebels is like a falling out of theives.  You had the upper hand because of the legalistic wording in the contracts you make every IBO sign (while they are optomistic newbies).  Truth is a commodity in which you do not have a monopoly over.

Hey, I have to say something nice about you.  You posted my comment, something I really doubted you would.  What is they world coming to?  Obviously not too many people ever read this site.  hehehehe!  I guess I am one of a kind.  Keep up the good work!

To me, life decisions and business decisions are always a "buyer beware" situation.  I am no longer a newbie, but still support the language of the Quixtar Arbitration contracts.  Face facts.... if you manage to get yourself into financial trouble operating your Quixtar business, you must have really poor mentorship - or fail to believe the quality mentorship that is available.  The only instance that I have had any compassion for is the whole "TEAM" thing.  We had a friend in that organization that got led down an unsavory path.... of course, I still feel that common sense should have prevailed.  (5 years and growing)

About Beth Dornan

I’ve been writing professionally (published) since I was 14, which means I’ve now logged 30+ years as a writer. I grew up in Northwest Indiana (“the region” to those familiar with the greater Chicago area), went to journalism school at Indiana University and was a reporter before going into PR. Realized I didn’t have the heart or stomach for journalism. I worked at a Grand Rapids PR agency founded by two former Amway Public Relations alums before leaving them to join Amway Public Relations in March 1989. I hopped over to Quixtar shortly after its launch in 1999. I’ve been married since 1992 to my college sweetheart and am Mom to two girls.
